Bridal luncheon

Bridal luncheon

I had read in some etiquette books that the bride should hold a bridal luncheon. Is anyone planning on doing this?? When should it be done? What do you do at it??

ill prob take every1 who comes bm dress shopping out ot lunch.

im planning on doing it closer to the wedding, and i was going to give my bms their gifts then..but i have a small bridal party

I'm plannng to do it when I ask all the girls....which needs to be soon! I just cant find a convenient time...or the money! LOL

Yup im doing this probably 2 months or so before the wedding.

I like that idea...when we go out dress shopping I'll prob. do a lunch then. It would be so hard to get all my BMs together.

I had a bridal luncheon to ask my girls to be in the bridal party, I have heard of brides having luncheons a week or so before the wedding to thank the girls for being in the wedding. . . . . . My FH and I want to have a bridal party BBQ for the whole BP about a month before the wedding

I was thinking of taking them to brunch before we go dress shopping. It is so hard to get everyone's schedules to line up so I figured if I can get them all together ONE DAY then we cana do both in one day.

I know some girls do this as it gets closer to the wedding but I was thinking that I would give them their gifts at the rehearsal dinner.

i have never heard of a bridal luncheon

i have been in a few weddings and no one has ever done one...i dont know if i'd be able to do one bc i have girls all over the place and it would be hard to get everyone together

I think we will do a little get together with the BP a few weeks before because i want to rehearse all of us walking down the isle and we'll take them all out after that. For my girls i was thinking maybe we can all go to a spa and just relax.

I don't think its necessary - Nice gesture but certainly not required. I hope no one takes offense to this but I thinks all these rules are a bunch of crap about weddings. All this money you spend on extra things...
