Do any of you subscribe to any? I bought a few @ target and didn't realize how $$ they are!?? Its much cheaper if you subscribe, but they are 80% ads..

Hahaah my mom had me subscribed since before we were engaged lol I had a subscription that just ran out this month and I'm not renewing cuz my wedding is nearly 5 mos away and my nail salon has, so I read there.
But yes, subscription is a fraction of the cost. I signed up my bff when she got engaged on xmas as a gift.

i signed up for a free 6 month subscription to Brides magazine ... but it's expiring next month i think and i will not be renewing. as you said, they're 80% ads and i refuse to pay for that!

bridal mags aren't worth the cost...
if you have the opp, visit bridal/wedding showcases. they give out a lot of them at those!

I've found the big name mags to be full of ads and basically worthless...but GRACE ORMONDE is amazing!! It's a big harder to find but packed full of awesome inspirations...also, gotta love Martha for DIY ideas!

I second that about Martha! I mostly get the New York bridal magazines so I can check out recommended vendors

I don't usually purchase them since all the same exact info is readily available online. But I did purchase a couple over the past 18 mos. when I needed something to read on the train.
