Bridal Make-up help!!

I was just wondering if anyone has gone for a make-up trial or two and have had success?

I went to an 'expert' salon to have my hair and makeup trial, and while the hair was very nice, the make up was awful. It was as if they didn't even try or something... I am tan and they made my face very white, the shadow was thrown on and was totally unflattering - and unnatural.
I looked a little like a blonde Elvira. When I told her I didn't like it, she said she would do it over, did, and I swear it looked exactly the same.

I am getting married June 7th 2003, I was sorta saved by the Bobbi Brown people at Bloomingdales.
Should I still consider going to another one with the Bobbi Brown colors I got, or just do it myself?

Maybe the bobbi brown people can do it for you? Sometimes they even work on the side for extra money.

They were great! They showed me how to apply the make up, what colors would be good for me, and all that. I was just concerned that they were too far to get to on the actual day of the wedding.

Maybe I will give them a call and check out the options!

You should definitely talk to them, alot of the girls that work at the counters will do the makeup for you on your wedding day. The girl who did my makeup was from the Clinique counter and she came to the house with two extra girls. They brought the makeup and everything.
