I was just wondering when you asked your girls/guys to be in your wedding party? I know who I want in my wedding party but we are 14 months away from the wedding so I didnt know if it was to early.
I guess its not too early since the people in my bridal party are all my cousins except for one friend that I have had for 3 years.
I just started giving all my bridesmaids the cards I made this past week. I think everyone already knew I was going to ask them anyways.
Did you ask them in a special way?
I asked everyone a few weeks after I got engaged. I wanted to do something nice like get a little gift or a nice card, but instead I got a little tipsy and blurted it out to everyone. Oh well, it saved me money by doing it that way lol.

Pretty much right away :) i didn't really need to think much..i have the most important people to stand next to us..i gave all my girls shirts
I officially asked everyone last week. I gave them a handmade 'Will you be my Bridesmaid?' card and a personalized wine glass.
I ordered little gifts and cards for everyone. I just booked my hall and so I wanted to wait until I had a def date. I will be asking in just a few weeks when the stuff comes in. It will be a little more than a year away.

I asked them as soon as I got engaged which was 14 months out. I wish I waited because I have a couple in there who showed their true colors and I wish they weren't in it.

omg. I did this too. But it was literally only a few weeks after I got engaged and they were like 'FINALLY! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO ASK US!' Then I bought them all a round to celebrate!
Im going to ask one of my cousins this weekend when i see her and Im going out with my maid of honor on Tuesday and asking her if she wants to be my maid of honor.
