bridal party colors

bridal party colors

So, I'm having a huge BP (at least to me it is!) My MOH's and one BM will be in sage. While my Jr. BM will be in a pale yellow. I also have 7 bell ringers. 6 of them are girls. What color could I mix with sage/yellow for them.

I've attached two options that were given to me by some other people. What are your thoughts? What do you like better (if either of them) or what color would you choose?

thanks ladies!

ps. the image for my dress is not completely accurate. the actual dress I have is white. The image shown is from another dress that I'm considering, which is in ivory/champagne.

I love the second option. The colors you've chosen are beautiful!

Please dont be mad at me but I dont see all those colors going together. what color flowers are you using too? greens and yellows always go but the purple Im not crazy about. are the bell ringers like FG's? Ive never heard of bell ringers. but if they are arent they usually the same color as the bride? and then tie in the colors from the moh and bm into their dress with either a sash and put ribbons on the bells of the other color like example white ( your dress) with a yellow sash and sage ribbons long on the bells or vice versa.

mad? ahahaha. no silly. I want honest opinions :) that's why I posted here! I know I can get some good real honest answers.

First, let me explain bell ringers. Bell Ringers are not really part of thebridal party. They come in before the bridal party procesional. The purpose of them is to announce to the guest's that the bride is coming. They'll walk down the isle with their little bell and ring it (I'm sure like crazy, because they are kids afterall) then they'll take a seat in the front row. Then the processional will start.

The Bell Ringers will not be carrying any flowers or anything at all like the BP will. And they will not be in all BP photos. I chose Bell Ringers b/c FI and I have 11 neices and nephews and we wanted to include everyone. 4 are actually IN the party. The other 7 are the Bell Ringers.

As far as my flowers. I'm not having traditional flowers. I'll have some daisys, but mostly herbs, like sage and rosemary, mrytle, tyme and ivy. BUt the bell ringers won't have any of that, just bells.

What you described for the FG attire, is exactly what I'm doing with my 1 FG. She'll be in white, with a matching sage or pale yellow sash. I wouldn't want to put the Bell Ringers in the same though, because they're not FG's at all.

does that make sense?

I like #2, but I would put the bell ringers in the same colors or sahdes of the smae colors as the moh & jr bm ( mix them up, since there are a bunch of them) , b/cthe dress will be different, the color will tie it together--or lmayeb even a floral print dress, that has both of those colors in it.

thanks :) most people haven't heard of bell ringers, but they were quite popular a long time ago. And the 'ringing of bells' is an irish tradition, which we wanted to incorporate as well. So it seems like this does all of that at once.

I'm not sure about the boy yet. I think we'll do a tux for him too, so he doesn't feel 'left out'. And then we'll have him match the color for the girl bellringers, with the vest and tie. I haven't gotten that far yet with any of the guy tuxes though. I wanted to get all the girls taken care of first ;)

thank you to everyone for your responses! :D

I like the second one-the color combo is beautiful! I dont think I would've ever thought of it myself but they really compliment each other nicely
