I haven't decided if I want a larger BP or just a MOH and Best Man. I'm trying to figure out what expenses are associated with a BP, and which of them are covered by me and FH, or by the BP themselves. Here's what I have so far:
-Dress/Tux - BP -Shoes - BP -BoKs and Bouts - Us -BP gifts - Us -Hair - Us -Hotel rooms??
What else am I missing?

Don't forget the expense of your shower and bachelorette if you think your girls are going to pay for it. I paid for everything for mine, but I only had 2 girls. They only paid for their dress and my MOH paid her hotel. My SIL's room was paid for by DH.
Most of the time girls expect to pay for their own hair and makeup (you forgot makeup) unless you let them know in advance they don't have to.
So you're missing:
-makeup -alterations -day-of jewelry (either by you or them) -bachelor/bachelorette party -shower -RD cost per person -limo space (may need larger limo depending on #)

If you're using limos you'd also need a bigger or additional one. Also, as long as you're not 'making' the girls have their hair done a certain way by a certain person, you don't need to pay for the hair (unless you want to as a gesture, but it's not expected).
FH and I were trying to decide the same thing, and what made me decide to go with the bigger bridal party is that when I envisioned the wedding, I just could not picture my 3 best friends in regular guest attire. In my mind, they were in bm dresses!
