Can you guys share what your BP got you for your shower and how many there are in a BP. I just went to a shower two weeks ago and they gave cash to the bride.....is this normal? I usually see something big off their registry. I thought it was an okay idea...but not necessarily creative?
I am not sure that's the norm. Everyday shower that I have been to, the brides receives a gift from her registry. Then I always give cash for the wedding.
She may not have enough $$$ for something she really wants that is not for the home. Maybe a headpiece or $$$ for the honeymoon. Otherwise, usually they give a gift from the registries.
We bought my sister her complete luggage set and a pair of silver cnadlesticks. There were 4 of us. We each chipped in like $160
my girls didnt chip in for a big gift they gave seperate gifts. my brother bought me my kitchen aid mixer and put money in the bowl and he was my man of honor. my sister who was in the wedding party and my flowergirl gave my complete set of china and my friends in the wedding party gave me small token gifts
