Re: bridal party gifts

I stole this from other brides but thought it was such a good idea! I'm getting them tote bags with their names on them and then putting a bunch of stuff in them. Not sure exactly what I'm putting in them yet. Maybe their DOJ, and some bath and body stuff.

I'm giving them:

1. DOJ
2. bridesmaid tanks, but I changed them according to their personalities...for example, Sexymaid, Hot Mamamaid (she's a mom of 3)...lol

3. Coach purses

I got my girls their DOJ and personalized picture frames from Things remembered. they are in my album under wedding items if you want to check them out.

When asking this question I think it's not an easy answer, because with flower girls it's easy, they're young. But with Bridesmaids, it's different ...

My friends aren't into things like Coach bags or fancy Tiffany necklaces, etc. We're into silly stuff like Hello Kitty, star earrings from Claire's, candles and flavored coffees and blueberry teas.

I think that the gifts need to reflect the style and taste of your Bridesmaids. Here are some general ideas though...

Gift cards to Sephora or stores you think they may like in a cute wallet.

Personalized or plain tote bags filled with goodies are always a great idea (LL Bean has cute ones you can initial though they start at $25 I think) Goodies in tote bags can be nice Bath&Body or Burts Bees, etc. lotions, make up kits, flip flops or slippers, teas, coffees, Godiva or nice chocolates, etc. - again this depends on the girls in your bridal party.

A day of beauty gift card (mani/pedi/brows or 10 minute massage should run about $50) or take them yourself.

Monogrammed spa bathrobes, day of hair and makeup, brooches for BM gowns and some other goodies I haven't narrowed down yet

I'm getting my BM's DoJ jewelry (necklace, earrings, and bracelet) and a pashmina/wrap.

My FH is getting his GM a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant.

Agreed, all my girls love purses, they just happen to be coach, cause I got a good deal....
