We're having a small bridal party (or I thought it'd be small)...Maid of Honor, Best Man, 3 Flowergirls, 1 Ring Bearer
Since we're not going to have groomsmen, I want to ask my cousin's daughters (who are tweens and early teens) to be 'Usherettes' (plus, they really want to be part of the wedding somehow)
So, do i need to get them a gift? If so, what would you recommend for girls between the ages of 12 and 16?
And should they be invited to the rehearsal?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: bridal party gifts
You could get them something small, like a bracelet. You could get very pretty bracelets that are not expensive. Just a little something to say thank you for being 'usherettes.'
As far as the RD goes, I don't think it's necessary to invite them. But that's totally up to you and your FH.

Are they going to be walking down the aisle? If so i would invite them to the rehearsal. That would make them feel special to be a part of that. As far as gifts go, maybe a pocket book with a gift certificate to something. Maybe Itunes for the 16 year old? Or maybe even a make up set for both of them.

No, they won't be walking down the aisle...they'll be giving out the programs and helping seat people before the ceremony, and after the ceremony they'll be handing out the rice.

I would get them all something. It is meant to be a toekn of your appreciation. A nice bracelet or necklace is nice. Also at things remembered they have little jewerly boxes that you can have engraved They should be invited to the RD so they know what to expect

If they will be at the church rehearsal than I think they should be invited to the dinner. Maybe you can get them a nice gift certificate to sephora or nail place if they are into that stuff...
