Bridal Party Gifts

Do couples usually give their bridal party gifts at the rehearsal dinner? Our rehearsal dinner is the night before the wedding and I wanted to give them their gifts sooner especially because part of my girls gifts are shirts i got them for to wear for my bachelorette party. Our other gifts include the girls DOJ and ties the guys will be wearing the next day so I'm wondering if they should get this stuff way sooner. I'm just worried that it might be awkward if we don't give any gifts at the rehearsal dinner.

What have other brides done?

Generally the BP gifts are given to the BP the evening of the RD. Why not just give the girls the shirts prior to the BP and save the rest (DOJ) for the RD?

usually gifts are given at the RD...but...if you know who will be hosting your bridal shower...wrap the gifts and give it to that person to bring...then you can hand them out there!
