My Bridal Party has 3 for the Bride and 3 For the groom, My problem is i have only 1 brother i'd like him to be in my wedding. FH has 3 sister and i want to keep my wedding party small. FH said ok for my brother to be in the wedding and it would help cause his daughter is the flower girl. We already booked the limos and he thinks that his sister's might have a problem that my brother is in the wedding and they aren't. I feel its my wedding and i only have 1 brother if i had 3 then i wouldnt want them in the wedding if i was not having his sisters.

Re: Bridal Party Help
I think you should add his sisters to the wedding, my having your brother but not his sisters its like saying your brother is more important than they are. Its better to be inclusive with new family vs. excluding people.

IMO I don't think its fair that you would ask him to include yur brother but you would not include his sisters. I think that it would hurt his sisters feelings.

Re: Bridal Party Help
IMHO, Why not include all of your siblings? WE're having a huge bp just to avoid hurt feelings...........

Ask his sisters too. Your bridal party does not have to be even. Don't worry about that.

I agree. We're having my FH's 2 sisters and nephew and my 2 brothers and my nephew. I think it's right to include all the siblings. Good luck!

i agree totally.
his sisters will be part of your family forever, and there's no need starting off as members of a new family together with hurt feelings.

Thanks all. No my brother is not more important. We are having one of his sister doing the reading at the church and the other 2 bringing up the gifts at the church thats why i did not think it would be that big of a deal and people i been asking all told me that they didnt have the hubbys sister in there weddings. I thought about that too i dont want to hurt anyones feels.

Re: Bridal Party Help
I agree with the girls...I say, add FH sisters. All of my bridesmaids are sister-in-laws, 3 of them are Fh's side of the fam, and the other is my sister in law and Fh is having my brother as a GM

I personally would not put them in the wedding party. I have a small bp, also. I only want people in my bp that are close to me and have been with me a long time as a friend. We aren't using my FH sister in our wedding at all and my aunt and two cousins are in the bp. It's just a something that you two need to decide together because you want this to be special. You don't want to randomly put someone in your wedding just because you don't want to hurt their feelings.
