Hi girls so i need some advice. I got engaged about 8 months ago and picked my bridal party right away. Im having 8 girls. Now, there is one person who i wish i didnt pick, because we have been growing apart. And there is others that i have wished i had picked instead. But i feel liked i jumped the gun and now its too late!! I dont want to add anymore people cause its already too big. What should i do?

Re: Bridal party HELP????
I'm in the same boat... with my MOH!
We had a bit of a tiff a few months ago, I just im'd her one day and said 'is everything ok? are you still my MOH' and she said 'no its not ok' and we talked about it... and everything was fine.
then about a month and a half ago she decides to stop talking to me because she was upset with herself, but felt that it was something I[/i] did (so not true) and I decided 'screw it, let her come to me' and she's been SLOWLY coming to me... I just don't even want to talk to her anymore, I'm so done with it... but I don't want to just ignore it and replace her, I want to say 'hey, you're not my MOH' but at the same time.. i'm not sure how we'll be in a few months.
My advice- talk to her, just say 'are we ok?'. if she says no or makes things weird just ask her to step out of the BP and replace her.
it su ck s, but sometimes things have to be done.
good luck!

Hey ladies! I was (am) in the same boat. At the end of the day, I was told you can't ask someone to step down. I agree that you should talk to the person and if they don't step down themselves, then you're sorta stuck with them...

Not to cause conflict, but where/who says you can't ask a person to step down? if you dont talk to a person for months and the wedding is approaching what do you do? I think it depends on the actual situation and how you want to handle it.
good luck!

Re: Bridal party HELP????
Well my family for instance said they were mad that I would even think of such a thing. I also posted on other sites where people said I have to let them stay in, or ask them to step down and be prepared to refund them the deposit/ cost of the dress and have the friendship end...

I think you can totally ask someone to step aside. I'm sure she knows you've been growing apart, too!!

I would definitely talk to her. If its not something you can work out then ask her to step down. Its your day and you can't be worried about how this could affect it. Good luck!!

Re: Bridal party HELP????
I got engaged last month and like an idiot I asked one too many girls to be in my bridal party.. So I had to eliminate just one and I told her that one of the FH's groomsman didnt accept his request and she was totally understanding about it. That way I think is the best way to not come off bitchy or messed up because really it's not your fault type thing. hope this helps!
