Bridal Party Question

Bridal Party Question

I have 2 guy cousins who I've grown up with and are very close to. Because they are guys, they aren't in my bridal party and my FH has too many guys for them to be on his side.

I want to ask them this weekend to escort my mom down the aisle so she doesn't have to walk by herself, and to also get them involved. Anyway, I was wondering what they would be called? Ushers? Mother of the Bride Escorts (eww that sounds dirty)?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'd love to know this too. I plan to ask my godfather to escort my mom down the aisle.

I guess since they will be escorting your mom down the aisle, they would technically be considered ushers. Ushers usually escort guests to their seats, hand out programs, etc. But, it's your wedding, call them whatever you want! Lol! But, technically, the term would be 'usher.'

One of my best friends is a guy and he is one of my bridesmaids. I don't see if you have room in your bridal party if you want to ask them to be your 'brides men'. My bf doesn't like to be referred to as a bridesmaid so he makes sure the term bridesman is used. lol. I would say it mob escort would probably be the term but like the others have said I am sure we can call them whatever you like.

I'm on the same boat! So what I'm doing is..I'm having my 2 cousin's walk me down the aisle & having my little cousin escort my mom..so even though they're not part of my bridal party they're still a part of my wedding

I'm having a bridesman. He will stand on my side during the ceremony!

I would call them ushers, but it's totally upto you. It's so nice that you are involving them, I think that is the most important part
