do you think it would be weird to have an uneven amount of people..we have a lot of kids in the bp at this point (6 girls and 1 boy) along with moh and 3 groomsmen.. we were going to have the boy walk with the 2 littlest girls and then 2 with each groomsmen and then one with the moh..but since the moh i wanted isn't working out (she and i are having trouble seeing eye to eye on a few things so i'm thinking she might not be right for the part but that's a whole other post..lol) i would have to ask more of my friends so as not to hurt anyone's feelings..so my females will be much more than my males..oh gosh i don't know what to do..any ideas? sorry so long..

We have the same thing...I have 3 bridesmaids, 1 maid of honor & 1 flower girl.
FH has 1 best man, 6 groomsmen...somehow, we are going to double up except the best man & maid of honor...

Many brides have uneven bridal parties! It will be fine! Holy moly that alot of kids in the BP!! You must have the patience of a saint!

do you think that it will look weird in the pics if there are a few more girls than males..maybe the girls can walk down with one another instead of with a guy..i don't know..

i think it's fine to have an uneven number and i don't think it looks odd in pictures....we had one more guy in the bridal party and it was hardly noticeable! the bridal party is about including who is important to you - not about making even numbers!! you have who you want to have!!!

we had 2 more girls than guys (& no kids) it looked fine & you cannot notice the difference even in the pix.

I will have an uneven number of guys and girls as well. (9 girls total, 7 guys).My sister did too.She had two girls walk out of the church and to be introduced with one guy, one on each arm. Just work it out with what works for you and DON'T worry about the numbers!!

I am only having my sister as my MOH since I have too many close friends and don't want to offend anyone. Also everyone is married, has kids and don't have the money. But I am having my brother in my FH wedding party and he has a best man and his 'little brother' from Catholic Big Brothers too! So we have 3 guys and 1 female. I don't care how it looks. These are the people I want in my bridal party and no one else.

both of my sisters are married and neither want anything to do with it (they're much older so they're over the whole wedding party gig) although that would solve the problem..and since my original maid of honor fell through i have to put more people in..i could just have the kids but then who do i have as MOH!! oh well..i guess numbers aren't that big of a deal right..i'm sure it will be okay either way
