Bridal Party table??

Bridal Party table??

FH and I will be having a sweethart's table. And so I figured that the Bridal party with their guests, if they have one, will all sit together near us. Last night I was on the phone with my sister, who does not have a date and will be the oldest one at this table, told me that my mother is putting her at my cousins' table. And she said that she would feel more comfortable there (with my cousins) than with the bridal party. The bridal party will be my sister, MOH, FSIL, my friend from school and FH's Best Man and 3 groomsmen that he went to HS with. Yes, she will be older, but only 3 of the 6 have dates. I think since we're not all sitting together, Bride, groom and party, then the party should sit together... am i wrong?

We're having our bridal party at 2 tables and yes, I think it's nice for them to all sit together. But if my sister made it very clear that she would be more ocmfortable elsewhere, than I wouldn't argue it. It's your day, but your sister will enjoy it more if she's comfortable.

I also agree it's nice for them to sit together... that's how FH and I are doing it... what people need to understand is that you don't spend much time at your seat... hopefully everyone will be up and dancing all night so the only time they have to sit at the table is to eat...

No, we are having our bridal party sit with their 'groups'. We feel that they will enjoy themselves more if they are all with people they are friends with. We also have 15 people in the bridal party so with dates I am not sure they would all fit at one table!

I'm breaking my bridal party up too. The BM's are my sisters, cousins, friends from college and friends from home. I think they would be much happier sitting with their 'groups'. My sisters don't really know my friends, and my friends would rather sit with my other non bridal party friends. All the groomsmen will be at the same table because their all friends, but the 2 best men will be at another since they are my FH's brothers.

I broke up my bp so that they sat with who they would want to sit at. I wanted them all to have the best time possible and felt that being with their friends was best. At most weddings I attend this is how it is done and I feel that people appreciate the thought that you want them to have fun and be with who they want.

You will rarely sit at your table, so its not like to be with your bp you need them next to you.

I'm splitting my BP up. they are are from all different parts of my life and will be much happier sitting with the people they are comfortable with.

We are also planning to break up our BP into their respective 'groups.' With friends and family mixed into our party, we feel that they may be happier and more comfortable sitting with other friends or family members. Granted, you hope that people are up dancing and mingling, but we don't want anyone in an uncomfortable position during the sit down portion of the dinner, straining to make conversation with people they may not be close with.
