Hi everyone! So I said yes to the dress on Sunday! I decided on a dress that I was not expecting to get lol I have a question about alterations, they told me the cap is over $400, and that was for serious alterations that I wouldn't need..but how much did you spend on alterations/bussel? Just curious so I have an idea on what I may end up spending. Thank you!

And here's my dress!

There's no pic :( But I am sure it is beautiful. I got my dress at Demetrios in Manhasset and I was given the around the same average cost for alterations when I bought it. About $300-$400. When I went for my first fitting a month ago it ended up being $385 for the hem, the seam, the bust and one bustle. I actually lost a little weight so I ended up with more alterations then I thought. I suppose it depends on what they have to do to your dress when the time comes. I have my next fitting in two weeks. Hopefully there wont be any more fees. Hope that helps. Congratulations on your wedding gown!
