Bridal Reflection or Lilette's..sorry longUPDATE*

So I found my dress I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!! and can't wait to officially order it, but i have a little dilemma.

The only store that i could find that actually had my dress in their store was Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. After going to numerous stores and not enjoying my experiences shopping , when I went to Bridal Reflections I was expecting to leave with still no idea and not enjoying the women who were helping me. But, I was so shocked I found my dress and loved each and every person in that store, just such a bunch of nice women! And the Store was so nice lookig and clean compared to others.

Then I went to Lilette's with an appt a few days later, they dont have the dress there, but tried on some others. First, noone would even pay me any mind even though I had an appt. They kinda made me look through the dresses by myself. Finally, someone helped me. I was still loving the other dress. So I asked about it and they told me that they could order it for me. So I called back today and they couldn't find any of my paperwork then they called me back cause they found it, but wrote down all incorrect info on the dress . Plus the store is not as nice or nearly as clean as the other. However, the dress in $207 cheaper at lilette's.

What would you do if you were me?? Which store would you order from? I'm kinda thinking i should jsut eat the $200 and be happy ordering it from Bridal Reflections

UPDATE: So I am so happy and excited! I finally went back to Bridal Reflections last night and told them that I found my dress $200 cheaper somewhere else, so she called someone and took $250 off of the price!

I'm SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I love my dress and I love Bridal Reflections of Massapequa! The girls are so sweet and helpful there! Now I can't wait till January so I can try my dress on!!

I just ordered my dress from Bridal Reflections Massapequca last night! I had a wonderful experiance there as well as you did.
I have heard that they tend to be a little more $ than other stores but I decided to order it anyway (I didnt get a chance to shop around). I figured that they have a great reputatioin and know how to handle every situation possible there. A bunch of my cousins have also ordered their dresses from there and had great things to say! They are also very professional and seem to work with you as far as alterations go. ( I am added things to the dress )
so if you can afford to eat the $200, I would do it.

Did they offer you 10% off? When I got my dress they gave it to me automatically. Theres your 200 bucks right there!!

I went to Bridal Reflection in Massapequa too. I delt with Mary Lou and she was amazing. I was so happy there and she told me that you could negotiate the price a little bit. I bet for $200 they will want your business. If I were you I would try to negotiate the price at Bridal Reflections and if they didnt come down I would still order with them. They seemed more professional and it just seemed like Lilletes was a little more unorganized....and with a big purchase like that I want to make sure I get the right dress.

I totally agree...i also worked with marylou and she worked with me on the price becuase 2 other stores were 380 cheaper and they took 300 off and then i got my BM dresses with them too and they take 10% off those....dont worry about alterations...there is a cap for them and one main lady who only does bridal!!! great store!!!

I agree! I did that with my dress, I found it at a bridal salon in PA for $500 cheaper than the one in NY!!! I told the NY store that and they matched the cheaper price. I certainly pays to haggle especially when it comes to wedding planning!!!

Sorry you had a bad experience at Lilltte's. i work with Pat and she was FABULOUS! no complaints and treated me like a princess.

Bridal refelections on the other hand I thought wasn't good at all. It goes back to when my first sister got married-they LOST, her wedding dress, thats right, LOST HER WEDDING DRESS!
Boy, was that a mess....then for my friends wedding, they lost my BM dress....
after those 2 experiences, I never went back.

Everyone has there pet peeves, just as long as your happy-thats what counts.

HOLY CRAP!! Now you make me question myself for going there!

However, I heard a really good story, which is another reason i went there. My friend forgot to get a veil??? I KNOW, how could she forget that??!! Anyway, she called bridal reflections in mass the morning of her wedding and they delivered a veil to her all the way out in suffolk county that day!!
