Bridal Reflection or Lilette's..sorry long****UPDATE*****

So I found my dress I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!! and can't wait to officially order it, but i have a little dilemma.

The only store that i could find that actually had my dress in their store was Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. After going to numerous stores and not enjoying my experiences shopping , when I went to Bridal Reflections I was expecting to leave with still no idea and not enjoying the women who were helping me. But, I was so shocked I found my dress and loved each and every person in that store, just such a bunch of nice women! And the Store was so nice lookig and clean compared to others.

Then I went to Lilette's with an appt a few days later, they dont have the dress there, but tried on some others. First, noone would even pay me any mind even though I had an appt. They kinda made me look through the dresses by myself. Finally, someone helped me. I was still loving the other dress. So I asked about it and they told me that they could order it for me. So I called back today and they couldn't find any of my paperwork then they called me back cause they found it, but wrote down all incorrect info on the dress . Plus the store is not as nice or nearly as clean as the other. However, the dress in $207 cheaper at lilette's.

What would you do if you were me?? Which store would you order from? I'm kinda thinking i should jsut eat the $200 and be happy ordering it from Bridal Reflections

UPDATE: So I am so happy and excited! I finally went back to Bridal Reflections last night and told them that I found my dress $200 cheaper somewhere else, so she called someone and took $250 off of the price!

I'm SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I love my dress and I love Bridal Reflections of Massapequa! The girls are so sweet and helpful there! Now I can't wait till January so I can try my dress on!!

I have been to both and love Lillettes....atleast Gerri . I got my Maggie gown there and they were the cheapest, even cheaper then RK Bridal. I say Lillettes but, I didnt have a bad experince. I also say it because it will save you $200 and dont forget about alterations and the bustle cost.
Is it the Lavina Royle that you are talking about?

Yep, it's the lavina royale. I know have all had great experiences there, that's why i went. Maybe it was just an off night and I should go back.

Yep, it's the lavina royale. I know have all had great experiences there, that's why i went. Maybe it was just an off night and I should go back.

I think you should go back and ask for Gerri. I have know many girls that have gone to her, she is a doll.

I bet for $200 they will want your business. If I were you I would try to negotiate the price at Bridal Reflections and if they didnt come down I would still order with them. They seemed more professional and it just seemed like Lilletes was a little more unorganized....and with a big purchase like that I want to make sure I get the right dress.

I'd go into Bridal Reflections and say here's the deal..Another salon will give me the dress for $200 cheaper, my mother is buying me the dress and wants me to go there because she said its the same dress at both places and she doesnt see the point in paying more for the same dress (a little white lie never hurt)..however, I REALLY love you guys here and feel really comforable here, is there anyway of you giving me alittle bit of a better price?

If they see that you are ready to buy and are just choosing between the two stores, they might be willing to bend a little for you..

This is exactly what i'm gonna do. If they will meet the price i'll get it there, if not, then i'll go to Lilette's. In the grand scheme of things it really is stupid to spend and extra $200 for no reason.

I did not order my dress from either store BUT have dealt with both in the past. I would have ordered my dress from Lilettes in a heartbeat but they couldn't order the dress I wanted.

Give Lilettes another try. If you still like BR then go there and try to negotiate the price -- just beware of their alterations. I know people have had good experiences but I did not have a good experience there and know way to many other people who did not either.

I'm a big believer that 1st impressions last forever!!!
Go with Bridal Reflections...... they were very attentive to you & your needs. Remember this is the dress you'll be wearing on the most important day of your life!!!!!!

I don't think I looked at BR. I ordered my dress from Lillette's because they were the only store (of about 12 I had looked at) that had a sample of my dress in their store, they were very conveniently located, and they had the best prices.

They arent as fancy as some other bridal shops, and they were probably in the middle re: niceness, but they've been in business a long time and know what they are doing.

My experience hasn't been perfect, but so far it's been pretty good.

I think that is a great idea

honestly...I have heard nothing but horror stories from both places...
if you know ths style and have tried the dress on..i would just order it elsewhere!
