Re: Bridal Reflections
when I went for my appointment, the saleslady took me into a fitting room & brought me dresses that she thought i would like. If that happens to you, you should ask her if you could go thrugh the racks with her.

Re: Bridal Reflections
I bout my dress at BR in Massapequa. I found them to be quite helpful and not pushy at all. They let me take pictures and when I was stuck between two dresses, let my sis try on the other so I could do a side by side comparison. My FMIL and my MOH also bout their dresses there.
Wherever you go, some people will love the place, others will hate it. You buy the dress wherever you feel comfortable and feel that you have gotten the best service.

Re: Bridal Reflections
bridal reflections was alright. I told her under 6,000 for my dress cause I would never spend over that. she brought out like a 13,000 one. I really liked it too. just sort of made me and my friends mad. why even show us? we never went back. she kept saying how it was sucha big day, how it's the one time to spend a lot, blah blah blah.
my family wouldn't even go near that place after that. if you tell someone the limit they shouldn't take out the most expensive!

Re: Bridal Reflections
I got my dress at the one in Carle Place and I have nothing but good things to say. They have been nothing but nice to me - I never felt pressured. I went once and continued shopping and then went back a second time. The second time I called for an appointment on a Saturday - that day and they squeezed me in and stayed open late for me. I would always tell a dress store like $1000 under your budget, and I would be open about what I try on - I was so sure I wanted an all lace dress with no beading and I think I wound up with the exact opposite. Good luck and have fun!

Re: Bridal Reflections
We got our BM dresses from there when my friend was getting married there, they were very nice, the dresses came in early, with not problems. They are actually having a Jim Hjelm (I believe) or Lazaro sale the weekend of the 22nd.

I did the same thing!!! I bought my dress there and lovedddd the experience! And I also went in with an exact vision of my dress and actually tried it on- loved it- bought it- then canceled it and went back and bought a completely different dress! lol And this new one is a keeper!

That's funny...which designer did you end up with? Mine is Ines DiSanto.

Re: Bridal Reflections
We picked out BMs dresses at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I have no complaints other than it was a zoo that day. I say avoid Saturdays if you can. We also went during a trunk show so we could get 10% off, I'm sure that contributed to the crowd. Dresses aren't in yet, but I'm hoping things go smoothly when they do.

Re: Bridal Reflections
I got my dress in their Massapequa store & have been to the Carle Place location as well. They let me have my way with the dresses for almost 2 hours in Massapequa just trying on whatever I felt like. Explain the look you want to them and they'll pull some things for you to look at but you should also be able to pull things yourself.
Remember that the attendant is usually in the room with you helping you get in & out of those crazy tulled & beaded puffs they call dressesso make sure you wear underwear that your comfortable showing people!! My attendant told me that girls have come in w/o any underwear so just keep that in mind! =) Pretty panties that day!!!
