Does anyone know if Bridal Reflections will match prices. I found a dress that I like in Village Bridal for $500 less. Also do you know if you buy your veil/headpiece and dress do they take some money off? Just wondering..
I would try to see if they can price match and ask them to cap the alterations. My alterations turned out to cost over 1k- I had a lot of work to be done. Anyway, as for the headpiece and veil- I would look at other places. They charged my sister over 1,500 for her headpiece and veil. I bought mine at Bridal styles in Brooklyn for less than half.
I called Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and asked them to match a price quote which I had gotten in writing from another store. When I told them the price they said that they could not/would not match it because the price was too low. Too low...not for me! I bought the dress at the other store and saved hundreds off the BR price. Not to mention that girls on this site report some bad experiences and price gauging at BR. Remember...once you order from a place they have you and from what I hear on this site, alot of times the niceness stops and the horns come out. Research alot and go check them out for yourself. What I am doing is ordering from the store where I got the excellant price and then taking it elsewhere for alterations, veil, headpiece, etc.
I think they up price the gowns by 10 percent...so when you buy they say ..oooh we are giving you 10 percent off You wind up getting it for what other ppl pay at other salons. thats what they did to me and my mom at least

I personallly love Village Bridal and If you live closer to them I would use them. I didn't have a good experience at Bridal Reflections... JMHO
