bridal reflections

Has anyone had a bad experience with them

Don't like them at all. I was about 10 minutes early for my appointment and I didn't mind waiting but then I had to wait 35 minutes just to try on wedding dresses. Meanwhile if you don't show up for your appointment they charge you $50 dollars. Oh well.

Re: bridal reflections

I've heard mixed reviews. In particular I've heard more bad things about the one in massapequa and pretty good ones about the one in carle place.

I bought my dress from the one in Carle Place. It was a good experience. I was even able to negotiate the price down of my dress.

Re: bridal reflections

I went to the one in Carle Place to shop for my gown and did not have a positive experience. They hide all the dresses in closets and don't let you browse through them. They ask you what your budget is, and all they show you are gowns in the highest bracket of your budget. I would prefer to be able to look through the dresses to find something that I like, rather than have someone do it for me, but I guess that's just my personal preference.

My BM gowns were from the one in Massapequa and everything has been a breeze!

HTH!

I tend to find the opposite lately. Everyone complaining about Carle place... and having good experiences at Massapequa.
I got mine at Massapequa and it was great.

Went to the one in Massapequa and thought they were more about selling the gown then what was best for the bride. very pushy and they didn't let me look through the dresses.

I got my dress at the Carle's Place BR and have had a great experience. My sister was married in 2007 and bought her dress from there to - she was very happy with them so I feel confident.

I did go to Mass. too and found them to be so nice.

I actually bought my veil from the one in Carle Place and had a great experience. They were very nice and the appointment went smoothly!

Re: bridal reflections

I am getting my dress from the Carle Place store and they have been nothing but great. They have been so nice to me. I went to the Massapequa store first and the dress I wanted they didn't have and the girl didn't seem to think much about it...didn't bother to do anything. When I went to the Carle Place store they didn't have the dress either but the girl called to the city location and arranged for the dress to be shipped to the Carle Place store the very next day. So I set up an appointment and everything went great and I wound up getting the dress!!! I felt that the Carle Place store took better care of me for my dress. As for my BM's dresses I am having the girls order from the Massapequa store because they have the dress at that location and I think the girls in the BM's department are great.

I haven't gone to them. I just bought my dress from David's Bridal.

I've heard the staff there is snobby and a friend of mine went to the one in Carle Place and she told them her budget so they showed her everything but made negative comments about the dresses in her lower price range. I just felt that isn't right. Their job is to show you the dresses not talk down about their product cause they think they can sell you something more expensive.

That whole story put me off from going. I'm all the better for it cause I got a great dress at David's that didn't break my bank

not a fan of the one in massapequa... very expensive for alterations and no help at all.

I feel the same way... I bought my dress at Mass and had a wonderful experience. I thought everyone was very nice and accommodating. I even stopped by last week just to take a look at my dress and they pulled the sample for me with no problem (I didn't have a apt).

I have to say I have heard good and bad things about almost every vendor- so I would base your choices on your personal experiences.

Re: bridal reflections

i went looking for my bridal gown in Massapequa. And they were so nice to me. I got to look through the dresses that were located downstairs.

I went with my friend to the one in Carle Place. And the woman was inappropriate and the only dresses my friend got to look through were the eve of milady dresses because they had a trunk show at the time. And those were the only dresses they showed my friend. Nothing else.

For my bms dresses, we ordered them in Mass. And they were helpful and nice.

Re: bridal reflections

I got mine from the Bridal Reflections in Manahattan. I had a GREAT experience with them. I had originally gone to Kleinfeld's but I did not like nor appreciate the amount of sales pressure they put on me to buy the dress. They actually told me after an hour that they are out of time and since it was my first day looking ( they felt I was not buying), I should go. Bridal Reflections in Manhattan was just amazing. They have racks of dresses they let me look through. I must have tried on about 15 different ones. I also lost track of the time, I was the last appointment of the day and my appointment went an hour over. They let me stay and keep deciding. The funny thing is that I fell in love with a dress and I had to tell them I wanted to buy it as they thought I needed to go home and think about it. I would 100% recommend this store. They have been nothing but a pleasure to work with.

Re: bridal reflections

I went to the one in massapequa for my friends wedding last year and everything was fine. My MOH and I went there this past Saturday to look for my BM dresses and all the girls there were really sweet and helpful and even lowered the price. Honestly I think it depends on who is working that day.

Re: bridal reflections

I went there to try on a sample of my dress to show my mom. They were helpful enough but they wanted to charge me DOUBLE the price of my dress than the store I found it in upstate. It was a Maggie Sottero. Needless to say I ordered it from the original store!
