I went to both and they were super nice in both places

Go with an open mind

The dress I selected was nothing like I had wanted to try on

don't know if your already on your way but like with any place if you don't want to buy today, don't act toooo enthused if you think you've found the one, unless your sure and ready to purchase, places can get a little pushy, I'd rather not deal with that.

I bought my dress at the carle place shop and Andrea was so nice. They are very helpful there. They really try to work with your budget and when I went I had no idea what I wanted except mermaid style, she found me a perfect dress and under my budget. Good luck and have Fun!!

I had Andrea at the Carle Place store too. She was great, as was Bobbi who I believe is the manager. I ended up buying my dress that day. They completely understood what I was looking for and gave me the trunk show price which was 15% off even though the trunk show for that designer was not until July 23. I had also gone to the Massapequa store too and had a great experience there too. I am actually going to have my alterations done there since it is way closer to my house.

Be specific about the kinds of dresses you want to try on!! You don't have the opportunity to hand pick the dresses you want so its really up to how well the sales girl selects the dress for you.. I liked it there a lot when I went, but felt like I only got to see the dresses the girl thought would look good on me, instead of what I really liked, so I kind of felt cheated out of finding the one when I went.. I would at the very least be specific about what you DON'T like, so you don't waste your time trying them on.. HTH

same they just pulled stuff off the racks (they were having a trunk show) but i ended up loving one of them but they wanted to charge me almost double than what i got it for.

... also if you want them to throw something it don't get it right away!! i told her i loved it but i really needed to think about it because of the price and i would call and let her know in the morning by the time i got home they called and said they would throw in a veil or head piece.
