Hi girls! I was wondering if anyone can post their experience with alterations and fittings from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place or Mass. def found the one in Carle Place but a little worried because the first time I went there was a nightmare..but then I worked with a lovely consultant Allie who was amazing. I have heard mixed reviews from everyone. If you could tell me your experience that would be great! :)

I've only used bridal reflections for being a bridesmaid, but they did a great job in terms of making the dress fit.
I will add though that the one in Carle place sent me home with the wrong dress (after I tried it on to see if it fit). Apparently there was someone else with the same name as me, and they gave me her dress. One of the girls had to drive to my house in Queens to pick up the dress and give me mine. I laughed about it, but the other girl was furious they said.

I'm going through the Alteration process for my gown at the Massapequa store and so far so good. I had my first fitting with Zizi (i think) and she was really nice. My next fitting is not until the 17 so hopefully everything will be okay when I go for that.

I recommend carle place. My alterations have been going beautifully, they have been taking it in stages because I needed a lot of work done. I have my 4th fitting coming up. They've been really great.

i went for bm alterations at carle place and wasnt really happy with them. they charge an arm and a leg and purposely order the dress 7 sizes too big. it was awful. i left feeling ripped off.

Agree with them ordering too big...I actually demanded that they order the dress two sizes smaller than what they were insisting on. They made me sign a waiver that it was my choice on the size. When the dress came in, it was perfect for me.

Thanks so much for a ll of your comments! I am still worried about the mixed review they receive. You think that the owners would do something about that if people have had bad experiences!
