Bridal Reflections asks for CC#????

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone had this experience?

I know that I am going to be purchasing my gown at Paradise Bridals ( I am a bridesmaid consultant there ) but I wanted to go somewhere that doesn't know that I know about bridal and get treated like a normal customer...

I called up Bridal Reflections because I am interested in the Eve of Milady line- After asking me 25 questions to make an appointment, they then asked my for my credit card #... I had trouble giving that over the phone to someone! In the end, I cancelled-

Is that weird? Am I alittle nuts? I wouldn't mind knowing if anyone else had this experience and if you would or would not give that information over the phone. THANKS!

I went to the one in Massapequa and they didnt ask me for one.

That makes me feel better- I called the one in Carle Place. ACTUALLY, when I asked if Massapequa took that information, the lady said yes- Maybe I'll check for myself - Thank you SO much!

i went to BR in Mass... and they never asked for any info when my mom set up the appt.. the only time they got the info was when we bought the dress....

really nice place and great ppl workign there.. nothign bad to say about them... good luck.

Yeah mass. was really nice to me. Try to get an apt. with Susan. She is a doll.
And to answer your question... they didnt ask for any cc number at all, and I made two different apts. My mom got a MOB dress there for my sisters wedding, and we looked at BM dresses there, and no one ever asked.
When you try on dresses they turn a blind eye to pics, and tell you 'who' you are trying on.
I didnt feel like they were hiding info.
They also give you 10% off stuff all the time. At least it covers tax.

I think that is pretty normal. They don't want to hold an appointment for you and then if you don't show up they could have made a sale with someone else....they charge you $50 if you are a no show.

I was just there this weekend with my MOH who is getting married Feb. 09 and they were great!!!

I just experienced that at Bridal Reflections last week. I called to make an appt and they request for a credit card. If you miss your appt and don't cancel two day before your scheduled appt, they will charge your credit card
