Re: Bridal Reflections - Carle Place or Massapequa?
I didn't go to the one in Carle Place, but I did go to Massapequa. I actually found my gown at the Mass. store, but I'm buying it elsewhere.
I wasn't a fan of the consultants at BR. They yelled at my sisters for looking through the gowns on the racks in the closet and told them to go sit down. I explained to the woman what I was looking for, and she brought me all gowns completely different than what I explained. It wasn't until she realized that I wasn't happy, that she finally started bringing gowns that I liked. But they were out of the budget I told her. Luckily, I told her a lower budget than I really had because the gown I fell in love with was slightly more expensive than I told her I wanted to pay.
Once I started looking happy, they started treating us better. Oh and it was also after she took a good look at my e-ring
They told me they were willing to work with me on price, but couldn't tell me the actual number until I committed to buying from them. They also wouldn't tell me the style number on the gown, so I had to do some research on my own that night. When I called the next day asking for a definitive price, the woman said 'I know you want a price so you can shop around, but I can't give that to you.' My response: 'Well then you're not really helping me at all' and I hung up.
Needless to say, I found the style number on the gown and am getting it from a store that has been much more courteous and helpful to me.
Personally, I'd recommend going to check out gowns there, as they do have a great selection. But I certainly was not going to continue working with them after my first experience.

Re: Bridal Reflections - Carle Place or Massapequa?
I called the one in Carle place last week and what she explained to me was that both stores carry different dresses. They also have a different price range in each store. I beleive the massapequa store dresses start at $1000 and the carle place store starts at $1800. I guess it would depend on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend.

Re: Bridal Reflections - Carle Place or Massapequa?
I have heard bad things about both stores. Personally, I went to both and didn't have HORRIBLE experiences.
Something I didn't like about the Massapequa store... I made an appointment and over the phone I gave them all my information. I also told them specific dresses I wanted to try on, what I was looking for, and what my budget was. When I came for my appointment they made me fill out this form with all the information I already told them and they were totally clueless as to which dresses I wanted to try on. They even claimed they didn't have the dresses until I mentioned I had called up and knew for a fact that the dresses were there. They made a rude comment about my budget, which I didn't think was too low. I didn't feel valued as a potential customer.

I went to BR in Carle Place today and I had a really good experience. I went alone ( i have been having trouble finding a dress) and they were more than accommodating. My consultant brought in many different dresses. I told her one that I was looking for in particular and she searched high and low for it, even calling other stores to find it. It turned out the dress was just shipped back from the NYC store and they went and pulled it out of the box for me. I would recommend them.

I've only been to the one is Massapequa. I cant say I've ever had an amazing experience...nor an absolutely horrble one. However, I think they are often unorganized and not very professional.

I haven't heard the best things about Massapequa. However, I did get my dress at Carle Place and ordered all my bm dresses there as well. I am actually going there Friday to try it on. So far I have had a wonderful experience.

Re: Bridal Reflections - Carle Place or Massapequa?
I was at the Massapequa store last thursday and the girl was super nice. I THINK her name was Kristy or Kristen. (could be lauren for all i know.. i'm not 100% sure).
It was in the middle of the day so i was the only one there. She told me all the designers, prices, let me look through the closets, and told me different things about the designers. She then wrote down all the dresses, their style # and price for me.
She said that Carle Place and Massapequa carry different dresses so you might want to check out both. If you like one store better then the other but the other store has the dress you want they can send it over.
I think it's a hit or miss thing.

My sis and I went to the Massapequa store on the same day and had a pleasant experience. Our salesladies were very nice and accomodting.
The only think I didn't like was that she told me the dress was a brand new James Clifford, when in fact I saw it on their website as part of the 2005 line.
