Bridal Reflections in Carle Place - Quick Poll

They are the closest salon that has the BM dresses I love.

Has anyone been there? Good and bad info is appreciated too.

I got my gown from there and they did everything perfect for me and my seamstress Lee, was unbelieveable. They get an A+ in my book!
My BM's didn't get there dresses from there so I couldn't help you in that department.

BM got their dresses there. everything seems ok! one picked it up this weekend (doing alterations by her home in NJ). so far so good!

The BM dresses are very expensive there compared to some of teh other salons, i had a friend who got her wedding dress there and she needed nine bridesmaid dresses and they would only give her 10 dollars off the price of each bridesmaid dress. So we found the dresses a lot cheaper at wedding center in commack. I have not heard good things about the alterations there, thats why i am getting my wedding dress altered by somoene else

I had a really bad experience at BR Carle Place, but a great experience at BR Massapequa- they were much more accomodating and listened to what I wanted, rather than what they wanted to sell me

I went once and didnt like the sales woman who helped us....didnt listen to anything I said and wasted a ton of our time. She also stabbed me with a pin...she yelled at me and said it was my fault!

I went back to give them another shot and made an appt to look at BM dresses. Nobody would help us and the girls in my opinion were really rude when we asked them a question.

Didn't go there for my BM gowns but I'm getting my gown from there and so far so good.... getting my BM gowns from the Massapequa store and so far so good there too!

Same as Deedee and someone else.... didn't get BM dresses there but I got my dress there and they were great. I used Lee as the seamstress and she was wonderful!!

I know someone who got her dress there and loved them but I had a bad experience there. They were rude and tryed to sell me everthing I didn't want

My friend just bought her gown there. They did force her to try on gowns that weren't her style, but so many people buy gowns that they don't think they would like. I am one of them! My friend bought her gown there. I hope they treat here well because she certainly paid a pretty penny for the dress! I do think they throw on a strong sales pitch, but they are such an upscale boutique, and you really feel like a princess when you are there. The woman that works there also told me that their lowest paid seamstress gets paid $35/hour so I'm sure they have good seamstresses there too. One thing I am weary about (there and elsewhere) .... they MAY order dresses that are larger than required intentionally so that you have to pay a lot for alterations. I'm just saying that because of the size they ordered my BM dress in at the Massapequa store and the size they just ordered for my friend. The designers may do that themselves though. Better too big than too small I guess.
