Bridal Reflections (long)

Bridal Reflections (long)

Hi, I have never posted here before but I wanted to share with everyone an experience i am having. I had my bridesmaids order their gowns from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. They seemed great and so helpful. Well, now I am having a horrible experience with them. First they ordered all of the wrong dresses. They had the correct dress written down but called it in wrong so when we went to try on the dresses they were all wrong. Then when the right dresses finally came in they didnt fit all my girls. They were saying that the girls gained weight but they measured them wrong because after remeasuring they saw they did something wrong. So not I have my girls all with dresses that are too tight and there is nothing they can do. They are so rude and I would tell everyone not to go there. Just thought I would share.

They probably measured them thru the size charts from a different manufacturer. IMO, I would bring them to small claims court, if u have time for it. It is a real shame what happened. I went in there and thought they were very expensive and the workers were 'stuffy'. I am so sorry for what happened.

Call the manufactorer. That is what I did, and poof all the sudden the truth popped out. The fear of
p issing off their manufacturer is a pretty big one.

Good luck to you!

I ordered my BM dress for a friends wedding their and so far I hate them. Not only are they overpriced, but I went last week for what was supposed to be my first fitting and they told me when I got there that they don't do fittings on Thursdays. I had an appointment, I took off from work for this. The girl made me feel stupid, The girl I spoke with booked it for that day, I wrote it on my calendar at work as soon as she said it. They were quite rude. I wasn't even in the book at all either before the thursday or months after, They totally screwed me. Now I have to go June 12 and they are sqeezing me in. I will never ever go back there for anything in my life.

I also had a bad experience and have several friends that did also. Did you threaten to report them to the BBB if they don't try to work with you? I wish you luck!

Don't say there is nothing they can do. They messed up, they need to fix it. Call the manufacturer. Speak to the manager or whoever is in charge at BR. Don't let them get away with saying that there is nothing that can be done. They need to compensate you in some way, especially if they are admitting that they are the ones who made the mistake. I am so sorry you have to deal with this now.

Re: Bridal Reflections (long)

I am also having the WORST time there..except it's with my wedding dress!!! Which of course happens to be a bridesmaid dress (informal beach wedding as many of you know) So the woman on the phone told me I had to be fitted on the bridesmaid side which is very emabarassing b/c I had to keep explaining that I WAS the bride not in the bridal party..I must have explained this a dozen times on the phone. finally she seemed to understand and scheduled me.
I had a 5:30 first fitting last week and they couldn't find my dress!!!! We waited until 6:00 and finally the manager comes out and tells us they pulled the wrong Jessica, they pulled the Jessica (insert common last name here) BRIDAL PARTY NOT ME!!!! Once again I explained I WAS THE BRIDE AND deserved to be treated as one regardless of what company makes me dress!
They had to have it brought over from a warehouse (I live in Suffolk so my mom and I had to go to dinner while we waited)
Finally i got fitted by 7:30!!! I was so pi**ed off!!!
They really ruined my first fitting. I was in such a bad mood that I don't even know if I like the dress anymore.
I wish I had more time to buy a different one from somewhere else.
I'd love to just leave the dress there unpaid for and waiting.
Edited to say...
They are very snotty there! You deserve properly fitted BP dresses I wouldn't let this go.

How is the Massapequa store?

I got my gown there, while they did a wonderful job with the alterations and my consultant was very pleasant their front desk/customer service really leaves a lot to be desired! I got a lot of run arounds and misinformation which was aggravating.

I ordered my gown from the Massapequa store, the dress came in less than 5 months and so far they have been great. I have found that when I call I may come across a snotty girl, but that was very few times. A lot of BR complaints come out of the Carle Place store for some reason, I guess because it's much busier than the Massapequa store.

Me too Merf - got my BM dresses there and they came in fine. Bridal gown has been in since last Jan and everytime I go there to show it to someone they have it on hand. Sorry you're having so many problems!

Re: Bridal Reflections (long)

the massapequa store isnt any better. we had an appointment and they pretty much ignored us while we waited to be helped and then my bm were trying on the dress and the lady was no where to be found to measure them. then they argued about the sizes wanted to order each of the girls dresses 2 sizes larger than chart. probably to make money on alterations. there are expensive. i saw the same dress 40 cheaper at commack bridal center. when i went there to look at mother of the groom dresses they were helpful and let me put on the bm dress to see if it will clash with her dress. very helpful and much cheaper they even said they would beat competitors price. GO TO COMMACK BRIDAL THEY ARE THE BEST.
