Bridal Reflections Massapequa

Bridal Reflections Massapequa

I just came back from Bridal Reflections and had the worst experience. I went with my mom to try on gowns. When I asked if my mom could come into the dressing room with me they basically told me no which was ridiculous. Anyway, I then asked if they had a bra that I could use to try the dress on with and when the girl brought it to me it was way too small and I couldn't get it to shut, so I asked for a diiferent one. She replied back with we don't waste time on bras here and I said well I understand but I do need one that I can close. My mom then asked are we on a time schedule and she said yes we are u only have an hour! I couldn't believe it! She was so rude! Anyway, I tried on about 10 strapless dresses and didn't have much luck. I liked some of the dresses but I didnt get that gut feeling. Is it true that when you find the right dress you will just know

I can't believe they were so rude about the bra! I have heard some negative things about them...that they were rude on the phone and in person. They were nice when I went there to try on dresses but, I was a little disappointed with the selection. There was one dress that was really pretty but, it had to much bead work on top for me. There was nothing there that really stood out to me.

Have you been to Village Bridal?? I heard they're really nice there. I plan on going there next week hopefully.

I have mixed experiences there....I was really late to my first appointment and my lady wasn't all that nice.....but I wound up going back...had a much better expereince and bought my dress there...my mom got her dress there too and they were real nice....

It all depends on who you work with...which I have learned that happens everywhere....people on this site that have had tough experiences in some places were just fine for me and vice versa....

sorry it didn't go well...def. look around until you find the one....I didn't get that 'feeling' everyone talks about...maybe just a little....so don't drive yourself nuts if it doesn't happen...

but I love my dress everytime I see it :) you will know though :)

I loved the lady who helped me. My two sisters had a great experience with them as well. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Keep looking for your dress- you will know which is the one.

Which consultant did you have? Mary Lou was mine and she was very nice. I actually bought a dress there (b/c my mom liked it) and then came back 5 minutes later to cancel the order b/c I realized that the dress was not 'the one'. So, whatever you do...don't buy the dress the first day you try it on. Go home and think about it. If after a few days, you still love it, go back, try it on again, and then see how you feel about it.

After a lot of shopping, I finally found the perfect dress. My mom actually cried when I came out in it. You will definitely know. When you can't stop smiling in it, you know it's the one.

I totally agree. I didnt have a great experience here, when I went w/ my BM's to try on their dresses. I thought they were kinda snotty and rude. So, needless to say, we didnt go back and ordered from Renate's.

The lady at Bridal Reflections that helped me was Darnell.

I had Jenn and she was fantastic- she was more helpful, responsive and supportive than my mom and sister!!

I went back another time just to quickly try on again what I started to realize was 'the one' when I was shopping again- and they were so nice and even helped me into the dress w/o an appointment !!
As a bm and moh I've had great experiences there too. They ordered my dress perfectly, held a dress until the day before for an OOT Bm...
I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

You may not freak out with the dress that becomes 'the one' I didn't - bI didn't realize until I went to other places and was trying on others and then requested/compared it to the dress. for me it was like I already had it- I was so comfortable and just glowed with it on!
