Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

I have never heard anything nice about this place. Everyone I know has horror stories about them!! Wonder how they are still in business!!!

ugh, I hate that place. The alterations/service for a friend's wedding was awful!

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

I did not have the best experience in massapequa or carle place. When trying in dresses in massapequa one of the sales girls told me 'you dont have the shape for that dress. You look like big bird'.

I also went to carle place to look for accessories and was rushed out of the store. There were some pretty things in the store I wanted to try on.
However, the lady just kept telling me to come back next month for a headpiece show instead of letting me try things on.

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

When I first started looking for a dress, I called the Carle Place store (right by my house). They asked me what my price range was and (very condescendingly) told me that I needed to go to the Massapequa store.

I went anyway, and had a similar experience. They told me I shouldn't be looking yet and gave me quite an attitude. I tried on a few dresses (and the woman helping me was nice enough), but after they saw I wasn't going to buy that day they (again) launched into their speeches on how I came too early and they couldn't help me. I didn't mind if they thought that...but there's a nice way to say things and then there's the way they did it...

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

thats when I would walk into the store, shop for hours, make a mess, take up their time, make them customer service me to death, lie my face off, then walk out saying ' thanks now i can order my dress online for half the price....'

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

I went there for my first experience trying on bridal gowns. The consultant didn't listen to a word I said!! I liked the top of one gown and the bottom of another and asked her if she had anything like it. She told me there was NO WAY I would find a gown like that and that I would have to have it custom made. She also suggested that I try their Carle Place salon. She was so abrupt and rude to my family as well. I got the vibe I was wasting her time because I was a first time bride. When we left there, I was really discouraged. We went to lunch and then another salon in bay shore. From the moment I walked in I felt like a princess and guess what? I tried on about 5 dresses that were a combination of the dressing I didn't like at BR!! I fell in love with the last and bought it right there!!
However, the manager from BR called me and asked me how it went. She was very nice and seemed to be receptive of my feedback at least. I definitely would never recommend this salon to anyone though.

My friend had gotten her wedding gown there and had a positive experience except they measured her very wrong!! She is busty and they ordered her dress too small!! They had to completely reconstruct her dress by adding panels. Crazy!!
