Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
I have to say I was extremly taken aback by how I was treated.Let me start by saying I originally wanted to bring my girls to try on a bari jay dress at this location but they did not carry the sample to see.
I brought 5 of my 10 girls to Princess Bridal in Farmingdale and was hoping that the negative reviews that they had would not hold true. Princess Bridal in Farmingdale were GREAT, they were sweet, patient and very very nice and fair!
I went to see Bridal Reflections the very next day to see what they could quote my girls since they all loved the bari jay dress.
1st - I was told the manager would not quote me because I did not BUY my wedding dress with them.
2nd - I was told the manager would not quote me unless the girls tried the dress on at their locations....I told them i tried to call but they DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE SAMPLE!!
3 - The manager came out and was like LISTEN WE ARE NOT A DISCOUNT BOUTIQUE first of all....but I will quote you anyway.
She then came out and said we would have to pay retail price which was $50 more then the famingdale price. Then she said again this was not a discount boutique and that I can find it a lot cheaper online but that she can not tell me how many times her store has to fix other peoples mistakes....
I was floored by her business ethics....REALLY!!

I'm appalled! How dare she??? Smh that attitude is unacceptable and if I were you I'd take my business somewhere else.

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
not surprised, their customer service was horrible with me as well. Had to get my dress there for my cousin's wedding...the sample fit me perfect, yet she insisted I order extra length because of my length I said NO and they wouldn't let me order it with out the extra length, they then charged $40 for a tiny little shawl so my $270 dress ended up costing me $400 with everything extra, I was LIVID and of course when I got the dress everything fit perfect except the extra 5 inches of length I didn't need so tack on another $65 to get alterations done....I'm NEVER giving them any more business

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
I had called to visit a trunk show there and the woman discouraged me from coming bc my wedding is 'too far away'. I told her I wanted to just check things out to get an idea of what I like and what to look for. She told me if I'm going to come into their store I should know what I want before I go. Okaaaay screw you! Not for nothing, but david's bridal said I can do whatever I want there, try on every single gown, stay for hours! That's more like it! If I'm not treated like a bride, I don't need to waste my time or money with you or your company

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
their attitude there really needs to be adjusted! they lie and are overpriced... def watch out for their sale tactics they use to pressure you into buying on the spot!

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
I was previously warned and had heard mixed reviews and I was STILL taken aback...I mean I walked in looking to buy 10 Bridesmaid dresses, 2 MOB (Grandma), 2 Flower girl dresses and my day of accessories....For all she knew i was wearing my mothers dress and that was why I didn't buy my dress there....

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
I think in general they are better for bridal gowns than for bridesmaids. I went there for WG shopping and they were great, but they have a really bad rep for BMs.
