FH's cousin is having us order our BM dresses from Bridal Reflections but I don't plan on getting my alterations done there. Do they include the cost of alterations in the dress prices or is it additional like most other places?
Alterations are extra. For my wedding gown it was $200. For wedding gowns they have a cap of $365 (i think) on alterations..probably a lot less for bridesmaids gowns. My girls got their BM dresses from RK Bridal in the city and they have a cap of $65 on alterations for BM gowns and most of them ended up spending around $50. Go to your local cleaners...one of my BMs did that. They charged her $25. They are usually better than most people think.
You should have them done their, as long as you order their 'recommended' size, the alterations are capped out at $50. I tried to be slick for my cousin's wedding and go else-where and they wanted $300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
