Bridal Reflections - which location? Other places to get a dress?

Which of the three Bridal Reflections locations is the best? I heard each one has it's own price range, but I don't know if that's actually true. Looking to spend $2000-2500, before alterations. What other places do you recommend for dress shopping? Where did you get your dress from?

Bridal Reflections - which location? Other places to get a dress?

I'll give you my recommendation from my own personal experience. Don't go to Bridal Reflections. I went to Massapequa and the consultant I had was extremely rude, pushy, and their dresses are overpriced. Plus they take advantage of you on alterations. I told her the styles I liked and she brought out styles that were TOTALLY OPPOSITE than what I wanted. She rudely informed me that based on my body style, I would need a drop waist dress and I 'will get frustrated dress shopping because that currently isn't what designers are making.' Way to make me feel good about my body. She then put on this dress with gold beading which I think is awful and she was oohing and ahhhing saying she worked at Wilhamena Models for 14 years and know what looks good on people. I felt a lot of pressure and she made me feel awful about myself. I know some people that have had totally opposite experiences, but I'm just warning you. There are many other places on the island to buy a wedding dress. I went to village bridal, bridal reflections, then Elena's bridal in Merrick, which is where I found my dress. If I didn't find it there I would have probably gone to Bridal Suite Bay Shore next.

Bridal Reflections - which location? Other places to get a dress?

Carle place was a nightmare, they were unhappy with my $5k budget and wanted to show me dresses that were 12k and up! Massapequa was better but overpriced. The dress I wanted was $1k cheaper at kleinfeld!

Bridal Reflections - which location? Other places to get a dress?

I went to the massapequa location bc my friend had a good experience. I didn't like that I couldn't look for dresses myself and before even measuring me she told me I would have to order extra length. I also got a call the next day telling me that the dress I was going to come back and try on in 2 weeks was being discontinued as of that day and if I wanted it I had to order it right away. I think I was lied to because this dress was from a trunk show of a new collection.

I got my dress at Helens in Commack. I worked with Liz and she was so fun to work with.

I didn't love the selection at Bridal Reflections.

I got my dress at Kleinfelds and it was one of the greatest experiences ever!

Worth the trip.

I went to bridal reflections Massapequa and carle place and had an amazing experience at both locations! I could only speak from my experience but everyone I worked with was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The selection of dresses were gorgeous. My budget was between 2000-2500 as well and I got my dress at the carle place location. My dress is also an Enzoani which not many places carry so I definitely think its worth going to!

I like Estelle's...I got to look around on my own without a sales associate following me around the whole time.

I love love loved Village Bridal in Babylon! You can pull things you want to try on as well as have the consultant pull for you. You can take pictures and they were not pushy. They had a great selection. It was my first spot, I tried a few other places, and came back. It was the best!

Bridal Reflections - which location? Other places to get a dress?

I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and the woman we had was great. I wish I knew her name. But, my FSIL went there and had a totally snobby woman and a bad experience. They were fine with my $1500 budget. I ended up buying my dress at Elena's in Merrick though!

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa I think would be the one with the price range you are looking for.

I did go there, it wasn't terrible but I don't like how you cant look through the dresses yourself.

Village Bridal in Babylon and Bridal Suite of Bay Shore were by far the best stores I went to....and I went to over 10 stores, tried on over 100 dresses.

I wish I knew how to upload a picture....lol I have pictures of me in the dress. lol the dress I picked was enzoani blue casablanca. Its funny cause I dont like it in this picture and it was prob one of the last dresses I grabbed because I thought it was ugly on the hanger.....yet it ended up being the one I loved. Funny how things work out. Do you have a pic of yours? :)
