Bridal Registry...
Hi Ladies,I have a question about registering. Can I register at two stores? If so, then how do I do that? Can I regiser the same items at both stores? I dont think so because then I would get duplicates. How can I do a registry at two stores?

Re: Bridal Registry...
sure you can register at 2 stores. We're registering at macys and crate and barrel. You can actually register on line. You may not want to register for the same thing at both stores because of duplicates.Lets say you want to register at Macys you can go on line or just go to the store.
Then the same thing for the other store.
My favorite quote to people 'But I'm the bride'
'you are the bride, you can do whatever you want'

Re: Bridal Registry...
Thanks! I agree with you. I am the bride and should be able to do what I want. I want to register at macy's in herald square and someone told me 'oh but a macy's at a different location might not have what the one in herald square has because they are a larger store' But you know what it's convienent for me to go to herald square. I work a couple of blocks from there and it's a 5 minute walk for me. I could go anytime I want to if I have any changes.I can split my registery...like maybe I can register for my bedroom and bathroom stuff at another store...but then again I like the idea of having everything in one store you know! so much more convienent.

Re: Bridal Registry...
what we did was we went on line to macys and looked at all there products and then went to crate and barrel on line and looked at all there products. we made a list of things we want and did a comparrison of who had what.so we concluded all our bed and bath stuff to come from macys and all our bar and kitchen stuff to come from crate and barrel (though a few stuff is coming from macy's)
you can manage your registry on line. so lets say you go to macys and they dont have the coffee maker you want, but you go on line and see it, add it to your registry.
what ever you want you can add. if its not in the store, check it out on line

Re: Bridal Registry...
We plan on registering at a couple places. We have a lot of out of town guests, so just registering at Fortunoff's wouldn't do. So we may do either Target or Bed Bath and Beyond (or both
) Is three too many?

Re: Bridal Registry...
We did two stores. Fortunoff and BBB. We did mostly kitchen and bathroom items at BBB and bedroom items at Fortunoff. I would definetly not suggest doing the same items at both stores.

i dont think three is too many. I know someone who did that so that should be fine. Besides it gives people more options.

Re: Bridal Registry...
We are registered at Fortunoff's crate and Barrel and we will be also doing Bed Bath and Beyond.I know that both Fortunofff's and BBY have some of the same gifts, so I am taking those off the fortunoff's and putting them on BBY.
The reason is that they are a little more expensive at Fortunoff's and at BBY it is cheaper and then people can always use there coupons that come in the mail.
I know nowadays people who are getting gifts for shower's, weddings, ( including myself) who want to get the best price out there and it is the thought that counts.
Personally I don't understand how some people can only put things on there registry for over $100. That's alot to ask people to do and not fair!!!! Just my opinion.
I just made sure on mine that I have a have different range of gifts from $20 all the way up to very expensive.

Re: Bridal Registry...
I would absolutely register at two places.... It gives the guests variety, gives them more option to pick out what they like, in a certain price range, and allows them to shop in a store they want to shop in....We registered at Bloomingdales, took the registry over to another place- The Mango Tree in Rockland Cnty (where FI is from) and registered there for the same things and more obviously. When we get one gift from Bloomie's, I call Mango and take it off and vice versa.
