I'm totally being a brat when I say this but doesn't it annoy you when people buy things that you didn't ask for..... I know I should be greatful but come on guys! there's a reason I didn't ask for those items!

lol - this happened with 1 person who sent a gift for my shower. They got me a good amount of stuff that I don't want (and isn't a great quality) and didn't give us a gift receipt. It's annoying, but there is nothing I can do at this point.

If you stalk Bed Bath and Beyond like I always do it shows you everything that has been purchased...even the things not on your list....The site automatically adds it to the registry if it's been purchased. I'm also registered at Amazon.com but I'm not sure if it shows it on that site.

all the things added to my registry were not bought for me
buttttt I did have a lot of people buy me things not on the registry...yes its annoying because its things I dont need or want or already have...I am very grateful tho.
if they bought it from BBB, you can return it to them without a receipt

It really just might be that people picked up something for themselves when they bought you gift. Everything they buy in that transaction shows up on your registry but it doesn't always mean they bought it for you. HTH

Really!? I didn't know that if they buy something for themselves it goes onto the registry......it's deffinitely possible they aren't meant for me!
well either way is fine. Ofcourse I am very happy regardless of the gifts and can't wait for saturday!!!!

Not at all. I got three bakeware sets only one was on my registry. Your fmil was one of the ones to get the wrong brand. Its all good!!! You can always return things.

Yes, BBB puts everything that was on the receipt on your registry ...so if someone buys sheets for themselves and something off your registry, all of that will show up when you stalk
