I have to order my dress at the exact length due to a scalloped hem so they need to know how many inches my heels will be. I am trying to determine this before Tuesday but I may not find the right shoe in that time.
How many inches was/will be your heel?

I think mine is like 2 1/2 inches. FH is not much taller than I am. I didn't want to feel like an Amazon on my wedding day

the ones I am planning on buying are 2 3/4'. I feel like that is high enough to look sexy but low enough to wear them comfortably most of the night.

mine is 1/2 iinch....FH and i are both 5'8 so i didnt wanna be taller then him. thats just enough to allow him to have a bit mre hight with his dress shoes.
and my dress has that scalloped edge too

Kitten heel. I'm 5'10' so I don't wear heels anyway. I also have a pair of flats for the reception so my dress doesn't need to be hemmed at all.

I think mine will be 2.5 to a little under 3...FH is 12 inches tallers...i need every inch! Of course, I don't usually wear heels...at least I have a year to get used to it!

That is the height of the ones I'll be getting as well...just enough height to be comfortable.

I need to decide this for my fitting next month too. I am having knee surgery the end of July but my fitting is mid July. Not sure if I can wear shoes or not. My FH is much taller than me. I am thinking maybe 1' if I can handle it. I also bought the comfy slippers that DB sells.

Mine were 5' , but they were platform heels so the were very comfortable, but I wear heels daily. I kept them on all night

mine's a kitten heel (is that about an inch, maybe?) i wanted to be comfortable.
my girlfriend's was four inches and she loved it, though her feet killed her the next day (was too amped up on adrenaline to notice wedding day)

my heel will be a kitten heel or even a beautiful flat sandal because I am already tall but also I have the same problem with my dress.

How tall are you? How tall is FH? In my case I'm 5'7' FH is 6'0'..I am going to wear 2-2.5 max bc I dont wanna look the same height as FH.

I wore a 2 1/2 inch heel, pics in my album. My DH is 6'6 and I'm 5'4...so at the end of the day I decided no matter how high my heels were it wouldn't make a difference! I just wanted to be comfortable!

My shoes are exactly 3'. I figured I usually wear a 3.5' heel every day all day for work with no problems, so 3' should be comfortable for me on my wedding day. I needed a little extra height b/c I'm 5'7', and FH is 6'4'.

Mine were 3 3/4'....DH is 6'2' and I'm 5'4', so yeah....I also had platform flip flops the same height and wore those too b/c as soon as I stepped into the wet grass in my heels they got so slippery! (it poured rain the day before the wedding)....
