Bridal Shoe Heel Height

I have to order my dress at the exact length due to a scalloped hem so they need to know how many inches my heels will be. I am trying to determine this before Tuesday but I may not find the right shoe in that time.

How many inches was/will be your heel?

I am 5'6 and FH is a little over 5'9 so I think I will aim for around 2.5.

I had the same problem. I went into my closet and realized that whenever I wore dressy shoes or shoes to other events the heel was always the same height. So I figured that was the height I was most comfortable in, so I bright in a pair on that height and had them measure me that way.

i think mine are 2 1/2 - 3 , I didn't want to wear shoes that were so uncomfortable

Mine are just over 2 inches.

Since the only part of the shoe you'll be able to see is the toe when I walk, I decided to stay the same heel height as all my other shoes since I'm used to it.

My shoes were 4 1/2!!!! My DH is over a foot taller than me though so I would have worn 6 inches if I could find them! If you don't find them in time, get longer you can always hem up but you can't make the dress longer after it has been cut!

can those girls with platforms, FM who makes their shoes? It also suggested by a friend to get dacing shoes as they are more comfortable and have height...

I think mine are 2 inch heels. I was told not to go too much higher than that for comfort even though FH is so much taller than me

That's a good idea. Most of my heels are high though. I think I want to wear 2.5-3.

my gown has a scalloped hem, i'm 5'7' and my heels are 3.5'...my dress was fell about 2' from the floor

That is the height of the ones I'll be getting as well...just enough height to be comfortable.

Me too! The FH is 5'9' and I'm 5'1', and with my hair, which will be up, I didn't want to get too close to being his height, so I'm going just under 3'. I always prefer 3.5-4, but that might get old after 12 hours in them!
