Re: BRIDAL SHOP
The women I worked with was HORRIBLE in addition to being rude she just refused to bring me anything that I was interested in. She refused to bring us anything but the cheapest dresses in the store - we kept asking for specific brands or even nicer dresses. (she brought us nothing over 2000$ which is fine if that is what you are looking for - but we were asking to see specific designers)
We asked to see a dress by Amalia Carrara and she told me that they didn't carry her - we found out later she meant Marco - uh how do you get marco from Amalia carrara is beyond me.
She brought me out to a small selection and told me to pick - since I was being difficult. Then didn't want to bring out what I was picking - she instead picked these ugly dresses which were the OPPOSITE of what we were looking for - and told my mother - well she keeps asking if we have anything else - but I brought her 10 dresses and she STILL isn't happy - geez.
She kept leaving the dressing room door wide open after leaving me in my underware so mom kept having to close the door (the girl next to me brought her FH and he was walking up and down the halls and walked by at one point when the door was open!)
Finally a manager came in and suddenly she brought out the amalia carrara, christos and other nice brands I KNEW they carried and her whole attitude changed - but we found that they were about 300-800$ MORE than the identical dresses were at Saks - so we never went back. Otherwise I would have requested someone else and looked again.

Re: BRIDAL SHOP
I had a very different experience with Kleinfelds. I was originally supposed to have my dress made, but the woman hadn't done anything (I ordered it in January and it was now October)... so I freaked and everyone suggested that I go to Kleinfelds.
I was able to get an appointment the same day as I called. I worked with Audry and she was amazing. She showed me everything... from the sample dresses upstairs to the most eligant dresses in the windows. She was amazing. She knew exactly what I wanted and was so easy to work with. She also helped me find my head piece. The owner took time out of his busy day to work with me as well (which was amazing). He brought out books and just made me feel like a princess!
I had to rush order my dress, but since they I told Aurdy my whole miserable ordeal with my first dress, they waived the rush fee. My dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding and it was all set and ready to go by the Thursday before!!! It was amazing!
I'm sorry if other brides have had negative experiences, because that is truely an amazing place to visit!
