I order the bridesmaid's dresses and the moh dress at Patchogue Bridal Suite. I when yesterday to look at them. They missed up the order. I ordered one dress in fuchia for the Moh. The Bridesmaid's are purple. They came back all purple. I am not sure what i am going to do. If my sister keeps the same dress color. What is there to make her look different then then the other girls?

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
maybe you can do something special with her flowers to help her stand out. I hope they are able to remedy this! Good luck!

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
1. You should receive at least a partial refund. 2. Kind of depends on the stink you want to make. You can whoop and scream but the reality is that all purple is not at all unattractive. A couple of easy options are to -give her a unique shawl or scarf -give her a different piece of jewelry -give her a different color floral bouquet -- this is probably the one that will standout most.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
They 'May or May not!!' OMG I am sooo fed up with bad customer service. i would demand they get it here express ordering or take a lot of $$ off the order to make it up to you. Anyway, vent over, if they can't get it here I agree that you could do something with the flowers or jewlery to separate her out. That is what I am doing.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
If you can't get this remedied, She could also wear her hair different, if all the girls wear it up she could wear it down or vice versa.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
You could put flowers in her hair or use bobbypins with rhinestones on them.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
Different flowers or just bigger bouquet Gloves Different hair (if the girls are all up, have hers 1/2 up or something) She doesn't HAVE to stand out that much . - everyone will know who the MOH is - you situation is annoying, but honestly, all they have to do is rush order ONE dress and they should ABSOLUTELY do it b/c it was their error. - it's not like you suddenly changed your mind.......

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
My MOH had the same dress as the other bridesmaids. The BMS all wore their hair up and my sister had hers 1/2 up 1/2 down. She also had slightly different flowers.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
Bea, the owner is an idiot. They 'forgot' to order my wedding gown for a year and Paradise Bridal was able to do a rush order and get it for me in a month, so they CAN get you the right color and DO NOT settle for anything less!!! Demand a FULL refund for your MOH's dress, you should not have to pay a thing. Demand TODAY that they reorder it and that you want a copy of the order confirmation!! Tell her you will call the manfacturer yourself and tell them what she did. That is what finally got her to admit to me that she NEVER ordered my dress for over a year!!!! You must be firm with Bea and stay on her!
FM me if you need any support, because I am sure she would love to see my face come walking in that door again!

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
depending on the style of the dress, maybe you could add a sash around the waist? i tried on some very simple wedding dresses and then the sales associate wrapped a colored sash around the waist and tied a bow in the back and it made it look like a totally different dress.

Re: Bridal Shop Mistake
Amazing how somethings don't change....now that I've started looking around for dresses I told my mother we should go to patchogue and she's like as long as it's not Patchogue Bridal...apparently 15 years ago she order me a dress from there for a wedding and a week before the wedding it still wasn't in....and on top of that they didn't want to refund the money. Could it possibly be the same owners? I have been telling my mother to get over it and just go there with me but now I'm not so sure!

I have heard horror stories again and again about that place and the one in Centereach. I would stay away.
