Bridal Shop recommendations

Hi All-

I am an OOT bride that will be doing dress shopping in August with Mom, FMIL and MOH. What bridal shops do you recommend on Long Island? We will be in the Huntington or Massapequa areas. Looking for a place with a decent selection and may be flexible to ship dress to Cali so I can have it altered where I live.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about the shipping thing but you could try bridal reflections in massapequa, ******* in huntington. if you want to drive a little bit you can go to lillets in bellmore

Yeah- Lillettes in Belmore is like 10-15 minute from bridal reflections. also.. there are probably a bunch in between massapequa and huntington!

Check out Bridal Elegance in Huntington. I have purchased my gown from them and they have been good so far...

If you find a dress that you like on LI at a store that doesn't play games and hide the designer/model, it might be worth buying it near you in Cali. That way you won't have to worry about shipping for alterations (of if anything is wrong with the dress when they get it in). I'm still trying to figure out whether to buy a dress in NY or London.

London!!!

And even though Paradise Bridal doesn't tell you the designer right away I would still check them out, the service and selection was incredible!

I just got my BM dresses there this weekend. It looked like they had some beautiful dresses (wedding gowns, BM dresses and MOB/MOG gowns).

I got my wedding dress at Bridal World in Baldwin -they were very friendly and helpful, and not pushy at all. Sherie and Ronnie are great!
