Anybody else in the same situation? I have been to a few places lately by myself. Unfortunately, my mother is gone, my sister is out of state and my bridesmaids are not the most dependable of people. I also never want to inconvenience people. I enjoy my time, I am independent by nature, but I can't help but get a little bit sad. Anyone else?

Re: Bridal shopping alone?
I did a lot of things by myself too. My family and all but one bms live out of state. I wanted my inlaws to feel they were part of the wedding process and I invited my fmil and fsmil. They went with me a few times. I also went solo a few times. Actually, I didn't mind going solo (especially because I went to so many stores). Advice: invite someone who will tell you their honest opinion I took a friend from work and every dress I tried on....'you look beautiful' She was not helping at all. Also, invite someone patient. Youwill be trying on lots of dresses. Good Luck!

I did it all myself, I know it can be lonely sometimes but just bring your digital camera and post here when you get home, lots of support is all right here

Re: Bridal shopping alone?
nothing wrong with it...I go by myself often...sometimes I feel I would rather since it's more relaxing and I don't have to feel rushed or put anyone out..plus I have my own ideas in my head of what I want already...yes, it's nice to have a friend sometimes to go with but all in all I kinda prefer to go on my own..plus I only have my dad and it's kinda difficult to get him excited over dress shopping!...
