Does anyone have any experience with Kleinfelds in Brooklyn? I am looking for a bridal gown and live in Nassau county. Any other suggesions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I went there and found them a bit pushy... my consultant was ok, but I just don't think she and I connected. (I said definitely no tulle, still, she brought me a dress or two with tulle) Their prices were not outrageous, though, and I've heard others on the board say they loved the place! I am glad I went, if for nothing else but to see what all the hype is about. You should go - who knows? Maybe you'll have a wonderful consultant and have better luck than I.

Hmmm... yeah... looks like you did get buried! Ended up going to Flowerama in Elmont. They have a big selection of dresses - tried on everything I picked out of the magazines. Though you might feel a bit of pressure to leave a deposit if you think you've found something... I had to be firm because I really wasn't sure. Did end up going back later, though, after visiting a couple of other places. Also - if you can, go on a weekday. Weekends there are SWAMPED.

Avoid Commack Wedding Center. They have quite a few complaints against them with Better Business Bureau.

i have the florist, dj, photographer and country club all booked. the country club includes the food, drink and cake (just need to contact the bakery and tell them what i want). i also have my dress and all the bridemaids dresses.

I just wanted to pass this info along to everyone. I found a website called www.bestcameras.com where you can purchase the disposable cameras for $9.95 each. That price INCLUDES the developing. Also, you can custom design the camera casing for $10.95 per camera (including your own design if we are that creative!)

Hi. I went to Adriennes in Islip. I absolutely love them. Great service and selection and they really work with you. I live in Nassau too but I didn want to have to go into Brooklyn to get my dress.

Regarding my wedding dress: I was just advised by my doctor that I now need to take heart medication and I cannot afford to risk my health by fighting with the bridal store owner. He handled the whole issue TERRIBLY. I am in the process of filing with the Better Business Bureau, etc. I will never recommend the Commack Wedding Center to anyone ..Meanwhile, I still dont have bridesmaid's gowns yet, BUT.. I am soooo glad I didnt buy them from HIM. This site is a good source for information because it helps us to make informed decisions regarding wedding vendors. I hope in sharing my experiences, I helped someone! Even if it was only one person! AVOID BAD VENDORS AT ALL COSTS.

Hey Debby...just wondering how everything is going. I read your last post...please dont let that sob get to you. He isnt worth it. Its all going to work out and everything will be perfect. Just concentrate on the GOOD things and dont dwell on the bad. Have your honey give you a massage and just let karma take its course. What goes around comes around and he will get his in the end. Adrienne's is great.

I also ordered my gown and bridesmaids from Adrienne's - she has a great store. I had a problem with them ordering my gown, but I have to tell you (and Concetta, for your piece of mind), they have called me several times and actually today I received a call after calling them that my gown is shipping from California on 4/21 and should be here a week after that. All my bridesmaids dresses are in and ready to go. I'm pleased with the results of my "almost" problem and they have now gone out of their way to satisfy me and make everything better for my life. Give them a call Debby - they are great on fast orders too and have a "New" Beautiful Bridesmaid Cottage in the back of the Bridal house. It's soooo nice there.
