Is it necessary to have an appointment when going dress shopping or can you just walk in? Thanks!

i think most places encourage/require appointments to ensure that you get individual attention when looking at dresses.

Most places require an appointment. While they will let you look, most are not pleased.

most require an appointment. i went to paradise bridal as they were closing but i called ahead and they encouraged me to come in- they were having a trunk show and had the dress i wanted (which was being discontinued) so i tried it on and placed the order for the dress that same day!! but again- not a normal thing. DEFINITELY do an appointment so you get the personalized attention you want and deserve!!!!

Thanks, girls! That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure. Any recommendations for shops in Suffolk?

Most places require an appointment. Lillette's was pretty flexible and if I called in the morning, they would let me come in in the afternoon.

Highly recommend Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point. They were so nice but it was too far from my house to order.
