Bridal shops and their seamstress

Me and my mom were talking about dress shopping and we were looking into a lot of bridal shops a few in L.I. too (I'm looking for a Maggie dress and there are more sellers in l.i. then Brooklyn)

but I don't wanna go into a shop that doesn't have a good seamstress. Anyone have any suggestions?
