Bridal Show: Scam?

What do you guys know about this? I have only been to 2 Bridal shows, and I have been getting continuous call that I won prizes and a trip. I never call back because i think its a scam. I got another call today and she said 'even if you dont want the prizes, please call us so we can get your permission to give the prizes away to someone else'. Now i am wondering, maybe it is real. Do you girls have any experience with this? What should I do?

1) the majority of them are scams

2) if you tell them to stop calling you, they HAVE to!

3) don't give your real # at a show ever again, unless you're genuinely interested in a vendor!

My FH and I went to see one of these 'You Won A Trip' people. We still laugh about it. First off the place was the most disgusting place you have ever seen (and it is a 'Bridal Center'). Then the official form that they gave us was a photocopy of an internet printout (copied on an angle and running out of toner). The form asked for the usual When we asked why they said so that they can verify that we can travel ! And to top it off, they then wanted a $50 check (and it couldn't be a money order - had to be a personal check), the form could only be mailed, and we would receive our travel vouchers by mail 4-6 weeks later!!

Give us a break. I'm not paying them $50 to steal my identity and wipe out my bank accounts!
