Because of the overwhelming response we thought we would post this again so all have a chance to participate.
We spoke with a girl who worked with Parameters and she gave us a tape; we haven't listened to it yet. There was a showcase of all the DJs there, but we didn't stay to watch them. Each DJ was trying to outdo the others, and were quite boistrous (which we are not looking for). The one DJ we did watch kind of scared me (I don't remember the company's name). We figured we'd have more success meeting with them individually, so we just took information from them. I did not speak with Ms. King, because we aren't looking for a harpist.
We got a ring for Derek yesterday at Tri County flea market yesterday. Did you get your rings yet? There were a lot of booths and he found something he liked. If you are not inclined to go to 47th Street and you are looking for something reasonable, I thought they were great. There was a large enough selection in his size that he could try enough styles to see what looked best. If you haven't gotten the rings yet - get moving girl! 10 days right??! How exciting!
