Bridal Shower

Anyone have any theme ideas for bridal showers? I need to plan one for a family member. Mine I would like it to be Things Remembered like sentimental gifts that remind me of the person who gave it to me.

I am actually throwing one this Sunday.

The theme is just pink. Pink organza overlays for table runners. Pink dinnerware. Pink leis. And we have a champagne fountain where I will have a pink champagne punch.

I went to a tea party shower. It was great they did little sandwiches and all lite food selection. It was great.

I've been to a Bridal Shower that was flower theme - each table was named after a different flower, the centerpieces were 1 dozen red & pink rose candles in a glass vase and the prizes for the games were miniature flower candles in pots.

My mom went to one where the theme was shoes- the placecards were shoe shaped cookies, they gave away shoe shaped mints & candles.

I wasn't there for this (it was my friend's SIL)but it sounds like an awesome idea.
The theme was pink - all pink food, drinks decorations, etc. (I guess you could do any color, really)
all the guests were given handmade pink tote bags filled with all kinds of goodies such as lip gloss, a pic of the bride and groom, etc.
One of the games they played was picture of the bride from birth to her present age. each guest had a a picture and they had to put it in order from earliest to most current.
