I know it's different in all situations but typically who throws it? I've heard sometimes it's the MOH and the MOB and then other times I've heard the BP all chips in. FH and I were just discussing it so I thought I'd ask you girls.

I'm not really sure. I'm pretty sure my mom is going to throw mine! My BMs may chip in tho!!

I think it depends on who can afford it. I have gone to some where only the MOB, or only MOG pays and also ones where all the BM's chip in. Typically I think it starts with the MOB and then goes from there.

ive seen alot where the bridal party chips in but lately i see the MOB doing it with help from MOH to plan it. Especially if you have a bigger guest list i think its hard for the bp to chip in.
Which reminds me, I REALLY need to start getting ready for a bridal shower i have to go to today and its FAR out

Most of the showers I've seen lately have been thrown by the MOB, with the MOH and bridesmaids putting together all the activities and organizing the events of the day.
That is how mine was.

yeah i think it depends... i know my mom and BMs/MOHs will all plan it together... but every situation is different

my mother said that her and my father are hosting it because they are not paying for the wedding. Sometimes the bp party chips with w/ the MOB or BP pays for it entirely.

I don't know who's throwing mine...but I was MOH for my MOH last year and every bridal party member chipped in. Her mom didn't really chip in at all..

The MOB is supposed to pay for it and the BM's are supposed to help with the planning. Thank god my mom is paying for it because i wouldnt want my girls to pay for it, i would feel bad.

I read recently that its traditionally the BP, otherwise it looks like the famliy is looking for gifts, honestly i don't think it really matters who throws it!
