Re: Bridal Shower
gosh, is it horrible that I dont want to have one??? I know that we won't buy an apartment until after the wedding. so i wouldnt even know what to register for not seeing what our apartment is like. it just seems more like a hassle than fun to me. i've been to so many showers and find them all sooo boring..like, do i really have to open EVERY gift knowing what i registered for an pretend that i am surprised? :oP i sound bitter, i know...

Re: Bridal Shower
Normally when the wedding countdown is only a few weeks away...like a few months. Ive been to some that were 5 months before and some that were a month before. it all depends on who's planning, what they want to do, when they want to do it etc.

i dont think you have to have one... and if you do it can be something different that is not boring like have a casino set up or different games or have it at a show..... i dont plan on having the same kind of bridal showers that people are used to. If you do a registry there is a website called myregistry.com and you can register for all kind of things even gift cards to your favorite store.
Ive heard of bridal showers 2 months to three months before

You sounded exactly like my sister. She didnt want one so she didnt have one. Being the made of honor, I was happy. It saved me some money.

Ooh good, I'm not the only one that feels that way! It's just that I never wanted one, and my maid of honor has a totally different idea than my fiancee's mom as to how the shower should be. we'll see...
