where is everyone having or had their bridal showers ? ( if its not a surprise of course)
im looking for places that can hold up to 80 people
just checked out the Inn at New Hyde Park

next, on the dais, what is everyone putting on the tables for the bridesmaids? I hate the traditional statues ( no offense) i got so many from past weddings. I want something different. Open to suggestions

thats so cute Cristina, I also mentioned nice photo albums, cuz the statue thing is old school. how was the food at the INN? i never ate there?

mines a surprise but my mom need help in the beginning so i checked out a few places with her and heres a few plkaces that can hold that many people

Mine was at Palmer's in Farmingdale and it was awesome. Not sure if they can hold 80 people though.
some people give each bridesmaid like a statue of a girl or some type of lladro/lenox statue. I kinda hate that. I got them all my life from being in bridal parties so i dont want that. I need to think of something else. Usually people put a gift per bridesmaid in front of each place setting on the dais.

ive never heard of that. i had my shower at piccolo bussola in mineola and it was amazing. the room was pretty big, i bet it could hold 80ppl

we looked at Danfords Surf Club Lombardis on the Sound Three Village Inn The Country House Old Field Club

mine is at milleridge inn next friday night (4/23). we invited over 90 people, i know the room my mom booked was big enough to accommidate that many!

We are getting married at OFC for 130 a person. It's a Sat. wedding. We didn't negotiate with them at all b/c I just knew that was 'the place' for us to get married ;)

my shower was at seventh street cafe in Garden City... had the best time!!!! And the food was delish!

Mine is going to be at Gino's Trattoria in Bayside......they have a couple of rooms upstairs...but dont know if it will hold 80 people...food is delish!
