bridal shower
does anyone have any recommendations for a place to have a bridal shower? preferably with a private room.prefer Nassau but Suffolk is okay too.
my shower was supposed to be at my aunt's house but once she heard at least 50 people she's saying it's too much. I have no idea why she thought my shower would only be like 20 people. when I told her in the beginning it'd be a lot of people.

La Famiglia in Plainview! I highly reccommend them. We just had our engagement party there and literally everything was AMAZING. Not a single complaint. They have a couple other locations but if you do go to plainview see Sal. One room holds 100(maybe more. We had 90 and there was plenty of room) and the other room hold 75ish I believe.

I was looking into places for FSIL's shower and Davenport Press in Mineola had a cool package. Their package included an umbrella, wishing well, choice of colored linen AND unlimited champagne punch. Also very reasonably priced!

that was one of my choices but my BFF/MOH is having hers there. all her sisters have had their showers there. they love it. I could too but I don't want to copy her lol. esp when her shower will be like 3 months after mine.

My friend had hers at Papa Razzi in Westbury. I also heard West End Cafe was good.

What about Cafe Spazzo in Westbury? They have a private room that holds 90 and the food is yummy!

I think that became cafe formaggio? and they are booked!
so is la famiglia. I am going to kill my aunt! ugh. me and my girls have been calling all day millions of places. I am crossing my fingers thatched cottage is available. with my luck they probably aren't.
my aunt also said we could still have it at her house but we'd have to be in the basement. I never really envisioned my girly shower to be in a dark basement cramped in like sardines lol.

Try Cafe Toscano in Massapequa, Bellisimo in Amityville, Trattoria Lucia in Bellerose (on the queens/nassau border, my fave restaurant ever) Per Un Angelo in Wantagh, Hemingways in Wantagh

trattoria lucia was on my list but I took it off because I thought parking would be hard. is it easy to park over there?

Bellisimo in Amityville - SO GOOD! Other FSIL had her shower there and it was great. Cafe Toscano also has good food but I remember it being on the small side?
Also check out Angelina's in Williston Park (they have a private room), Piccola Bussola in Mineola or Verona in Farmingdale (parking is kind of a pain there, but the food is AMAZING).

Parking isn't bad at all. You can use the parking lot next door (for the bank) and parking on the street is easy too. Our nieces first birthday was there and many many other family parties. Never had a problem & the food is amazing. My cousin actually booked her friends shower there (she is MoH) for April. Check it out.

I'm having my shower super early May 19th because that was the day my aunt could have it at her house. now we've planned everything around it and my family is flying in to Ny so I have to keep that date.
I'm just happy it came out now and not in March that she can't really have it at her house or she could try and we all squeeze into her basement which I never knew that was the plan. out of all the planning this is the most stressed I've been lol. plus my mom is from the south so she can't understand why places aren't only $20 pp.

Oh wow, ok that totally makes sense!! Yeah, thankfully it came out now that your aunt can't accommodate your amount of guests.... But really, I feel like she should have asked how many people before she offered her house! No wonder you're stressed about this! Well good luck! If I come across any more places, I'll let you know! Mine will be in March, I think... So If we find a good place, I'll def let you know!
